Claimed By The Wolf – Spotlight & Review

Claimed By The Wolf by Charlene Teglia

  • Paperback: 304 pages
  • Publisher: St. Martin’s Griffin; 1st edition (Dec 8 2009)
  • Language: English
  • ISBN-10: 0312537425
  • ISBN-13: 978-0312537425
  • Book Description:

“They guard humanity against supernatural threats from the five gateways into the world. The Shadow Guardians: a vampire, a werewolf, a demon, a dragon and a fae are united in brotherhood – and war. Shadow Guardian Kenrick is an alpha werewolf forever in his prime. When Sybil, a beautiful apprentice witch, unknowingly opens a realm to the Otherworld, there is a sudden influx of demons – and it’s up to Kenrick to help her stop them. Soon their passion flares and Kenrick desires Sybil as his mate. But to form their union, Sybil faces the ultimate test: She must bind herself to the Shadow Guardians by sharing herself with all five warriors.”

    My Thoughts:

I just want to put it out there that though I’ve seen this book shelved in the romance section of the bookstore, it is definitely an erotica, so if you’re looking for melt the ink off the pages erotica, then this book is for you! It does contain some multi-partner action, so if you’re more into “vanilla”, then this book is not for you.

Sybil  definitely “puts her foot in it”, so to speak, when she unknowingly opens a gate to the demon realm! Enter the uber-sexy alpha werewolf, Kenric, to help her close the gate and the sparks begin to fly. Kenric is part of a group of Shadow Gardians, a dragon, a vampire, a fae and a demon who all are strong and sexy. Sybil has some hard choices to make and repercussions from having unwittingly opened the gate, but once she decides to do what it takes to fix the problem, she gets to have a lot of fun (of the physical variety), to help her along the path of redemption.

This book has great characters, danger, excitement and hot, steamy action mixed in with witches, a werewolf, a dragon, demons, a vampire and a fae lord. Bring on the Shadow Guardians!
