“Clarity “Clare” Fern sees things. Things no one else can see. Things like stolen kisses and long-buried secrets. All she has to do is touch an object and the visions come to her. It’s a gift.

And a curse.

When a teenage girl is found murdered, Clare’s ex—boyfriend wants her to help
solve the case—but Clare is still furious at the cheating jerk. Then Clare’s
brother, who has supernatural gifts of his own, becomes the prime suspect, and
Clare can no longer look away. Teaming up with Gabriel, the smoldering son of
the new detective, Clare must venture into the depths of fear, revenge, and lust
in order to track the killer. But will her sight fail her just when she needs it
most?”

My Thoughts:

I really enjoyed this book. It was a quick read for me as I read it in a day, but I really fell into the story. Clarity is a wonderful character and I loved her unique abilities alongside her family’s abilities.  I loved the characters, the setting, the circumstances, the mystery to be solved and of course, the history with her ex and the hope of a new connection with the new hot young guy in town. It was really interesting to read things in the point of view of someone who’s entire family is psychically gifted or cursed depending on how you look at it. Everything just flowed and fit well in this book. I don’t know how else to describe it.

A great read and I highly recommend it to all fans of paranormal YA and anyone who loves a good mystery along with some romance on the side.
