Tuesday Teaser
I’m actually kinda looking forward to this one! Snow White and The Huntsmen. It sounds and looks like an interesting “re-mix” on the Snow White fairy tale and is obviously an adult version in that it’s a lot darker in tone. I got a good laugh when I read in one of the comments: “so Hancock’s wife hires Thor to hunt down and kill Bella”. Pretty funny if you think of it that way! đ
What movies are you looking forward to?
Tuesday Movie Trailer
There are a bunch of movie trailers that I’ve seen recently that have me all excited, but today I’m sharing with you all the trailer for The Hunger Games which is based on Suzanne Collins’ Hunger Games Trilogy. I can not tell you how much I loved these books! I was totally caught up in the world that the author created on paper and am ever so curious to see if the movie will do the book justice. The trailer looks really promising though. If you’ve read the book, what do you think of the trailer and are you excited to see the movie? If you haven’t read the book, what are you waiting for? đ
Teaser Tuesday
I am well into my third week of slogging through the flu that never ends and am feeling like it really will never end! LOL They just opened the flu clinics here yesterday. Where were they 4 weeks ago when I needed them? Yesterday was also round 4 or 5 of my bi-weekly dentist visits to get some much needed work done and it just knocked me on my butt yesterday with a brutal migraine. Fun stuff I tell ya. But, to cheer myself up, I have been watching the new The Avengers trailer and thought I would share it with you all too. đ Observe the awesomeness that is coming in May!
Breaking Dawn Pt. 1 – Trailer
So I’m pretty sure everyone here knows that Tori & I are fans of both the Twilight series of books and the movies. đ Tori sent me the link yesterday for the new movie trailer for Breaking Dawn Part 1 and, WOW! I can’t wait to see it!

Word Count: 86, 000
Genre: Young Adult, Paranormal
Book Description:
“Elodie Rose has a secret. Any day, sheâll become a wolf and succumb to the violence thatâs cursed her family for centuries. For seventeen years sheâs hidden who and what she is. But now someone knows the truth and is determined to exterminate her family line. Living on borrowed time in the midst of this dangerous game of hide and seek, the last thing Elodie needs to do is fall in love. But Sawyer is determined to protect her, and the brooding, angry boy is more than what he seems. Can they outsmart a madman? And if they survive, will they find a way to beat the curse for good?”
My Thoughts:
I fell into Elodie and Sawyer’s story right off the bat and didn’t emerge until I’d finished reading it. The book begins with Elodie worrying about the family curse beginning to come true and as we learn about her fears, the curse and previous outcomes, we also discover her strengths, weaknesses, and beliefs. I found the characters to be totally believable and they were written as if they could really be alive out there somewhere in the world with this crazy situation unfolding. I loved Kait Nolan’s fresh new take of the Red Riding Hood history that was told within this modern-day tale.
A perfect blend of the supernatural mixed in with a modern teen love story. Everything about this book just “worked” for me, including the great cover! Wonderfully “alive” characters, great plot and pacing, the right mix of mystery, suspense, danger, romance and thrills. Descriptions of the location created a good atmosphere to match the story and situation. I am truly impressed with this newer author and will be definitely looking forward to reading many more engrossing tales written by her in the future! I highly recommend this book to all fans of Young Adult Paranormal Romance.

Underworld Awakening Trailer
OMG! I just saw this yesterday and I am so stoked to see it! I had to share. đ
Daughter Of Smoke And Bone – Spotlight
The cover of Daughter of Smoke and Bone – the trilogy of urban fantasy crossover novels by award-winning author Laini Taylor – has just been unveiled
Daughter of Smoke and Bone will launch on September 29th. The book tells the story of an angel who fell in love with a devil. It did not end well.
Around the world, black handprints are appearing on doorways, scorched there by winged strangers who have crept through a slit in the sky. In a dark and dusty shop, a devilâs supply of human teeth grows dangerously low. And in the tangled lanes of Prague, a young art student is about to be caught up in a brutal otherworldly war.
Meet Kaoru. She fills her sketchbooks with monsters and demons that delight and enthrall those around her; sheâs prone to disappearing on mysterious âerrandsâ; she speaks many languages â not all of them human; and her bright blue hair actually grows out of her head that colour.
Her life straddles two worlds: the human and a place that is Elsewhere. She has never really known which one is her true home, but now the doors to Elsewhere are closing . . .Who is she? That is the question that haunts her, and sheâs about to find out..

Halo – Trailer
Another book that I have been highly anticipating is Alexandra Adornetto’s YA, Halo!
Book Description:
“Three angels are sent down to bring good to the world: Gabriel, the warrior; Ivy, the healer; and Bethany, a teenage girl who is the least experienced of the trio. But she is the most human, and when she is romantically drawn to a mortal boy, the angels fear she will not be strong enough to save anyoneâespecially herselfâfrom the Dark Forces.
Is love a great enough power against evil?”
Check out the trailer.
I’ve always been fascinated with Angels, what about you?
